A bit of color to make you smile!

I made these fun and colorful bracelets this week! I wanted to make something that could give a bit of color and uniqueness to my silver bracelets and I think these are great for the stalking effect! You can add all kinds of different silver bracelets and add one of these to make it POP! Like this!

You can make these super easy bracelets with 2 different colors of big round beads, an elastic string and make sure to make a tight knot! :)

4) Hair jewelry: I personally have not followed this trend yet... I sort of like it...who knows I might try it someday. They look great for a special occasion where u want to get noticed! Check these out!

5) Punk style: I recently went downtown for shopping and all I can see is studs everywhere, in clothes, shoes, and jewelry! I haven't tried it yet...its not really my style but I would probably wear just one bracelet and mix it up a bit with more feminine bracelets. But that's just me!

My favorite trends of 2012! (part 1)

I was thinking it would be fun to review the trends of 2012  since we are approaching slowly but surely towards the end of the year. I cant believe we are almost in October, which means Halloween is approaching!! (my favorite event of the year). I will also let you know which are MY favorite trends! :) I hope you get inspired by some of the pics! Here we go! 

1)  Sparkle and Elegance: I think this is a classic trend that will never go out of style. It is perfect for formal events and definitely the way to go for a classic wedding!

The one below I absolutely love! I think for a wedding it would be great if the dress is not too over the top...They could also work for prom night!

2) Floral invasion: I do follow this trend but only occasionally and in small amounts...like a flower vintage looking ring or small flower earrings. I think its very girly and cute but in my opinion don't over do it! lol These pieces are from Juicy Couture floral collection. 

This one is by Kate Spade "garden party" floral collection.

3) Chunky gold jewelry:  I love love love them! they easily make your outfit stand out. The fun part is that you can wear them with all kinds of different bracelets and you can even mix colors. I'm still holding on to this trend.

So, my favorite ones are...... chunky gold bracelets mixed with colorful thinner ones and I'm loving flower earrings!!

Feel inspired!

Hi guys !!! I wanted to show you my new bracelets!! Since it is still sunny outside I cant stop making bracelets with pastel and lighter colors. I guess the weather really influences my mood lol. I hope you feel inspired and you try to make your own jewelry! Since there are no rules in creating your own style, I combined chains with beads and leather! So check it out! :) 

I love the round baby blue bead with the pink flower! I think the chain gives this girly bracelet a more modern and edgier look! 

Now, these are also some of my favorite ones because they are fun to make and they won't cost you much. You can choose different types of material like hemp cord, leather, or even regular thread! I love wearing them all at the same time or with some other chunky bracelets! Hope you like it! 

Go crazy choosing your buttons!! You can choose any color or type of button to close your bracelet. You can sometimes find some interesting looking buttons in garage sales! ;)

Gold for everyone!

Hi everyone! I've been thinking about the trends of 2012 and realized that the color gold has been super popular! For example, I see the chunky gold bracelets paired with thinner ones everywhere in magazines. They definitely make you stand out! In winter, what I will  miss the most is wearing white jeans paired with a flashy color tank top(hot pink)and GOLD jewelry!:)I think everyone should have some shiny gold in their jewelry box!So here is a pair of earrings that I made inspired by designer Nikki Baker. The earrings are delicate and because they have different colors of beads they go with everything! The original is 170$ because it is made out of real gold! 

 My version is in the shape of a leaf  and the colors of the beads can also be good for the fall!

They could also be matched with a chunky gold bracelet and a cute ring!

Let's say goodbye to super cute white dresses and pastel colors.. It sounds depressing! lol  Here I'm posting these 2 pics to keep in mind if you are one of the lucky ones who goes on vacation in the south! If not, don't stop yet! I will still wear white jeans even in the fall! I'll pair it with high black or brown boots and a nice colorful scarf!

New styles and colors!

I have been making more of the summer inspired bracelets but in different colors! I love these because you can wear them in different ways... Either a casual look or a more trendy look! I used suede leather strands to make the braid and matched it with some crystal beads to give it a magical touch! Check out the pics!;)

I also made this leather braided bracelet that it's very fast and easy to make! I'm working on downloading a YouTube video to show you guys how to make your own.

Autumn is coming!

Hi everyone!! As you all know AUTUMN is coming!! Its sad but nice at the same time since I love autumn colors! I also like the feeling you get when you go outside and there is the right amount of wind and fresh air!! ;)  Another thing that I love about autumn is the million possibilities you get to pair your jeans with...Either with high boots, ankle booties, in some cases sandals, and ballet shoes! Everything is allowed! Well, this new bracelet was made with Autumn in mind and the beautiful colors we see in the trees. hope you like it. 

It was made with wire string and a mix of different types of beads. I wore it this weekend to my friend's wedding and I pared it with a brown dress and a gold clutch. Check it out!
